Military Bonuses Being Clawed Back! A Shame and Outrage!

10-24-16 1:11 PM EST: The military men and women who have been serving, sacrificing, and injued in many instances, were promised bonuses between 10 and 25K for reenlisting. The Pentagon, aka the federal government, said those bonuses were a mistake, aka, lie, and though the troops signed a contract saying I will do this if you will do that are now having that money clawed back by the contract breecher?

August 26, 1346: The Battle of Crécy and Power of the Longbow!

8-26-16 4:35 PM EST: Have truly enjoyed reading many books, i.e., history-based novels about this time period, most notably by Sir Walter Scott, who was the man who first coined the phrase, "Oh what a tangled web we weave...".

This one takes place during the 100 years war and is between England and France. The French are employing mounted knights and crossbows, the English, primarily the longbow, but the History.com narrative differs from the second video below when describing the force numbers of each side.

Today in 1797 the USS Constitution is Launched! Old Ironsides!

10-21-16 3:52 PM EST: "The USS Constitution, a 44-gun U.S. Navy frigate built to fight Barbary pirates off the coast of Tripoli, is launched in Boston Harbor. The vessel performed commendably during the Barbary conflicts, and in 1805 a peace treaty with Tripoli was signed on the Constitution‘s deck.
